I have issues... I've always loved Halloween and now that I own a house in a nice quiet neighbourhood I plan on being "that guy" and shunned by all those around me for at least two weeks a year.

I'm going to stick my wife out front and she can nicely hand out candy to the wee ones, whilst daring the "brave ones" to visit the "Attached garage of HORROR"..... (insert horrific sounds... much worse than Celine Dionne).

So enuf' with the intros... I need INFO from junkies like you.

First of all... Jute netting... I live in Canada... (Ottawa to be exact). Does anyone know how to buy a huge roll of the stuff? I've perused a bunch of forums but I can't find anyone who will ship the stuff up here.

Next big question... I have "grand plans" on creating some sort of Alchemy style horror box. I'll do my best to explain it and if anyone has any suggestions on how to create the beast I'm all ears.

Here's what I sort of would like to do:

Imagine that you've stumbled in the laboratory of some mad scientist and in this room is a weathered looking wooden box (with or without satanic carvings) and there are convex porthole windows on each side. Looking into it reveals some sort of preserved alien creature, deformed baby (what have you).

Perhaps bubbles rise from the liquid?

Any ideas on where to get cheap convex glass windows? Round... porthole style?

On the note of storing things in beakers... if I get a great latex prop is there anyway to store it in something that looks like formaldehyde without destroying it?

Any help is greatly appreciated on turning my garage into a den of horror!!
