    Default Ahoy from Los Angeles – 09-16-2008,10:57 AM


    Pirates are my chosen theme. It is an odd feeling to walk into a store and have all of the merchandise on the shelves. We have reached the point of needing o build our own props.
    This year we have undertaken our largest project; a pirate ship facade. The plan is to have it be 8 ft high and 33 ft long with a railing on top, a plank and several cannons. We have built our pvc cannons, except for the carriages. The tender is complete. Thankfully I have a loyal crew and very excited neighbors.
    Mechanics are my weakness any help or guidance at the most basic level is appreciated.
