Default hi everyone!

I'm so happy to have found this forum! I'm a longtime lover of halloween and a cheap girl planning a halloween wedding on the fly I'm hoping to pick all of your brains for inexpensive horror-themed brilliance.

Thanks everybody! What I'm hoping to find is an idea for an E. A. Poe costume. Isn't it odd that I can't find one for halloween?? I'm dressing as the raven so the groom is going as Poe. This should be interesting considering he has a babyface and blonde hair. We are willing to change this idea if we can't find anything that works but I have long flaming red hair so, as you can imagine, trying to find a suitable "theme" hasn't been easy. Any ideas would be great. It's a really casual affair. If I even bother with a first dance it would be to The Cramps (Surfin Dead) if that gives you an idea. We've been together for nearly 10 years so, truth be told, this is an excuse to have a huge costume party and we are huge horror-hounds so we've always imagined a 31st wedding. I'm sure this will be a great resource so thanks again!!

that sounds like a new twist. i'm sure you will get ideas from here. there are a few weddings being planned right now in the general halloween post. go into one and throw this idea out there and you will get some response i'm sure. and i for one would love to see pictures at the end. this sounds really different and cool.

mellie, try this link, maybe it'll give you an idea, (although I'm sure you won't want a huge BEAK on your face), and welcome aboard!!
