Hi everyone!! I'm so happy to have found this board and to know that I am not the crazy person out there that thinks about Halloween in April! LOL! I've been driving my husband and kids crazy with ideas already. I have been doing up the front yard for about 5 years now I skipped one year and my neighbors were not happy about that. I like to try to add a few new things every year. We came in second place last year and are trying for first this year. I look forward to chatting and sharing thought and ideas. Don't worry i have been driving co-worker and my friends crazy about halloween since november 1 2007 so enjoy and it will be interesting and fun to see your display in picture if you have some . It will made us go more into the spirit of the halloween

Thanks everyone! I will try to get some pics up later today! Yes our city has Halloween house decorating contest and we took second last year, we won 4 tickets to the chicago wolves game. Looking forward to making it bigger and better this year!!
Holy cow! You're in Oak Forest? That's only an hour drive from me. I'm in Hoffman Estates. I might have to check out your decorations in person and check out the 1st place prize house while I'm down there.
