Newbie from California

Hey everyone!! Im so glad to have found this forum - just about every other Halloween forum i've stumbled across is pretty dead, this one seems active constantly and that makes me happy.

A little about me, Im 20 years old - 21 this August (finally!). I work at a Haunted House every year, and have for, lets see - this will be my 5th year. Im hoping to attend Make-up school next spring, and ultimately specialize in Special FX and Prosthetics. Im also planning on going to Stunt School at some point over the next year or two.

Isn't that the point?

Great to see you joined us. I was lucky because this was the first site I stumbled on, so I've been spoiled. This site is active year round, but from what I saw last year the traffic picks up BIG in the months leading up to the big day.

California huh? Whereabouts? I have a good friend that lives in Orange County.

Yea, California. Right now im Northern California, I lived in So-cal for 2 years, moved back last summer, something that really wasnt my choice - but Im hoping...really really hoping that 1) I'll be getting a job at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood this year, and 2) I'll be moving back down to So-Cal next Feb/March.

we still have 200+ days left till the big day, but, im already stoked for it. I think I really start psyching myself out for Halloween (or really the ENTIRE month of October) somewhere around July/August - its when Auditions for all the theme parks i've worked at during October have been, and its just - all the fall stuff and Halloween stuff starts appearing in stores.
