I understand how that works....I have two sons who live by the brother's code of silence. The funny thing is when, as their mother, I can tell them things I have known for years but never said anything about (they are 31 and 33). As my grandson grows older, my son will soon learn you have to pick your battles. You might be surprised to learn how much your parents really do know. After all....we were all young once.
hey, halloweenking, religious family here as well. but it is really cool. i am 57 now, and most of the people my age now realize they had drinking problems. and they had to quit, which is not easy, i give them credit, but still what they had to go through. i also have a little sister who was an angel in my mom's eyes. and she was a shyster, just not caught. i know how you feel. i have to admit though, i am the one who gave mom gray hairs, but my one older sister was the rebel. if you went to my mom's house it was family pictures galore [especially my little sister and her family], some of my kids, but none of me. one day i bought a cloth floral blue teddy bear that held a 3 inch picture frame and put a picture of my mom, me, and my daughter in it and put it on one of her shelves with the statement it had better stay there. when i put her in the rest home a year and a half ago, i brought it to my house and it is on a shelf in my living room even though it doesn't seem to belong with my other decor. this might be a contradiction now but my mom and i have always been close and did a lot together and i knew she loved me, it was just obvious i was not the favorite, or the angel. last year my family made up a calendar, it has pictures of relatives on there birthday month. my mom has the desease where she doesn't know most people now. she was looking through the calendar with me and thought she recognized her husband and one brother in law, she recognized my grandson, and then she turned to the last page and her face really lit up and she said, why, there's my rene, and she just glowed. that really touched me. take that little sister. anyway, tyler, i think you are awesome, you can tell by your picture and your actions you are as well very nice. i knew that already, i just wanted to tease you about your brother. sorry

I know my pearents know about some of the stuff like drinking and smoking cigarets but the other stuff not so sure cause I just found out back in december. If they new about the stuff I do they'd be getting him help right away lol.
