gwyn, i'm not big into gory, but i do like that a lot. can you post a bigger pic so i can see the details better?
and.... that is so cool you got to meet an universal monster and then get your picture taken. i want to meet the ghost hunters and have my picture taken. sigh. lol

Fantastic work Gwynplaine! I'm with Hallo, not into gore myself but can still apprecaite it and find beauty in the art of it just the same. That's Wicked that you got to meet one of the last Universal Monsters, bet you had an awesome time...You really do look Awesome though

Up close you can see the imperfections in the design, like the fact I cut the zipper too long, and didn't figure that out until it was attached to my face, and my beard was in the way...
I didn't want to shave off part of my beard to make it "work", (Lon Chaney would've, I'm such a hack...) otherwise - it's just some tissue paper, stage blood, a cheap Halloween mask I cut up, and concealer/bruise make-up...

For the record: I'm in the same camp as you and Dutchess, I'm not much of a "gore-hound" when it comes to my Horror movies...
But, I love to push myself and see what I can do with make-up -
and meeting one of my beloved Universal Monsters was the highlight of the convention for me -
I even got to have dinner with Mr. Browning...!!
