YAY! Im so glad to see OEJ and Succub'Oz back in action! Missed you guys! Of course, I've been out of touch myself for awhile but I am trying to check in as often as possible. Still no internet at home and super busy at work so getting here has proven quite difficult. But im glad to see my old friends and family again.

loved your story. tastefully gruesome.
the pirate picture is a keeper and i loved you knitted a scarf. something i haven't done in years but did enjoy doing.
questions, some can be answered, some just thought, some you just keep coming back to
Just because I haven't been on the board in awhile doesn't mean I left. Sometimes you just get caught up in other things, as I explained. I love all my Halloween friends and I always will. We're a special bunch of people; us Halloween nuts.
I've kept in contact with some of my closest friends through email the whole time.

Each forum has a very special and almost indescribable life of its own and it's bacause of the members that make it up. No two forums are the same, not even the Halloween ones and this forum will always be very special to me.

When I first started my knitting project I joined a couple of knitting forums... On those forums I go by 'Sirius Knittiwitz'. Here's my avatar...

I thought it was funny, but knitters have a different kind of humor mechanism. That's not to say that they're not funny or don't find things funny. They just didn't find ME so. It was fun enough and I certainly found people who could answer any question I had but I tell you, there is a world of difference between a knitter and a Halloweener. For one thing, the board NEVER had more than two or three people on at ANY time. You see, if knitters like to socialize they usually do it together in the same room... SO THEY CAN KNIT! You can't knit and type at the same time... or read for that matter. They're always off knitting.... go figure.
Oh, I'd get answers to my questions, alright, but sometimes it would take DAYS to get a response.

Well, now that I feel that I'll haunt this place more often again, I just have to figure out just how all of it works. I have some really great pics of that shop I had mentioned before, 'Sleighbells'. They have an INCREDIBLE Halloween room and I want to show you all but I'm trying to figure out the best way to post the pics.

I'm also having a spot of trouble with my signature. There's the option that says you can upload a pic from your computer and it has to be no larger than 500 px x 100 px and no bigger that 19kb. I can't seem to get it to accept anything. I tried posting the [IMG] file from my photobucket account using again, the prescribed dimensions and it won't let me do that either.
I'll figure it out. I always do, it's just time that I could be spending on a post or getting caught up on a thread.

And don't listen to Succy. Y'all can fawn as much as ya want and she gets plenty of it from me!

Don't feel bad, OEJ, I had the hardest time uploading an avatar here. Uploading never worked; I ended up hot linking to an image in my Photobucket album.
