OEJ, that is one SCHWEEEET lookin' guitar!!! Looks great on ya, too. Tell me about working odd shift hours. You'll adjust after a while. The scarf is GORGEOUS, very professional job, looks nothing like MY first adventures with yarn ,LOL!!

Thanks people! And yes, that is the scarf I made. I'm pretty happy with it and as far as any 'talent' I just got lucky. There were many times where I could have easily screwed it up. Every color change I made was an anxiety attack.

Working with clay, I found, wasn't as bad because I wasn't folloing any real set of rules. I just went along doing what I THOUGHT looked ok. With knitting, however, you do it the way your supposed to or it will all go awry.

I guess my biggest concern with starting to play guitar is hoping that I don't lose interest in it. I'm hoping that my investment will be intensive enought to keep me plugging away at it. On my CD I played everything BUT guitar. Now if I can do THAT TOO, it might just be enough to really get me into writing and recording again. Who knows. I hope.

Anyway, y'all... Thanks for the encouragement and of course I'll keep you posted!

Oh, and Succy... Honey, if you're going to bang your head on the desk, the least you could do for me is to keep time so I can have a metronome to play to.

OK, Jack....I stole that picture and I have to say it is one of the BEST pictures on the album. Sweet guitar, too.

Thanks Hallo! It took me about 20 mins to design in photoshop. I don't know HOW much it will cost to actually have it done once I GET the guitar but at least its fun for me to look at, for now.

The neat thing about the picture now, is that I've already set up all the layers so all I have to do now to design ANY guitar is just put a new pic in the OEJ layer and "VOILA" - - - Instant personal guitar! hehehe!
