Hello everyone!! Been getting ideas from :how to sites" for the past 3 years and never knew this forum existed. I have spent hours looking at all of your links etc, (I should be building props). I started 4 years ago decorating my living room and dining room for a party. Nothing fancy, fake food, beasts, cobwebs and a bride and groom. Party was great and i got so many compliments on the rooms. Since so many people liked it at the party I decided to open it on Halloween. It rained so I did'nt want people coming in on the carpet and tile, but many people saw it from the porchj and copmmented. The next year I went crazy, more props, sychronized lightning coming from outside through the blinds of ALL windows, and more props. Lat year I wetn crazy. All furnature out of the room, all lighting down, I started making props in April and I opened the cemetary for our party, a open house and Halloween night. I had over 400 people during the three days. When you walked in the door, you were walking into a outdoor cemetary. I had walls, 9 foot tree, a working fountain, 3 fog machines, grass and dirt on the floor, stone walls, blue sky with lightning on top of that, a home made 6ft wolfman, grim reapers, 35 home made tombstones and monuments and more. I found 5ft singing dancing bears at Walmart on sale for $12.00 each and a few 5 ft Grinches for the same price. I went nuts making props. I spent the month of October setting up and two weeks to tear down. I can't decorate outside since we get very high winds in October and nothing would last. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to. My signature is me as the Wicked Witch and my wife as a flying monkey. We handmade the costumes, took about a month, but worth the comliments. This forum is cool!!! Thanks!!!!

    Welcome to the forum

A lot of folks use free sites to upload their pictures too and then just link them in their postings.

I have my own, so I can't recall the name of the big site alot of Haunters use, but watch the threads, someone is bound to have a link in their signature.
