Hi, my fiancee and I are avid Halloween lovers.. We have put on a yard haunt every year at our place, however this year is better because we own our own house now. My props are usually ones I find ready made or can customize some, I'm too ignorant to put anything electrical together... This year I'd like to bloody up my bathroom and fill the tub with blood, but of course I'm worried that my substance of choice would stain the porcelain and/or white tile that surrounds it. Great places to shop for props are thrift stores and garage sales, and of course, after halloween discount specials. My ultimate favorite thing about Halloween is carving though, I've been carving pumpkin masters stuff for 15 years now.. some of the old patterns are hard to find. Thanks to everyone for having and participating in this forum. I suddenly don't feel alone anymore...

Hi Rod.I took the Scouts up to summer camp for a week.I got invited to work as Staff for an extra week next year.I can honestly say the only things about civilization I missed were my friends here at the forum and the time lost to working on props.112 days left!!
And Catmean,I've worked on props for over 20 years and never thought to look for other nut cases like Rod and Putrid till after this last Halloween. But people in this forum are great and we're glad to have every new member!

Catmean,
Here's a thread that might solve your blood and bathtub related problem.

Welcome Catmean! Don't worry about being electrically challenged, you are not alone

Vlad: Glad to see you're back! Hope you had fun with the scouts.
