I've been carving pumpkins (ala Pumpkin Masters designs) for many years. This year, I tried something different. Lots of plans were made, but I had to pare it down to what I could reasonably do with the time I had. So:

Mounted a Scary Terry on top of a bush where the children would walk up. I recorded a lot of audio for it, which I ran from a laptop, to the skull, and out to some Boom Tube speakers hidden in the bush. We also set up a "lab skeleton" with lab coat and huge hypo needle, sat next to bottles of hemlock and poison, with the Free Flu Shots sign in the image. There is a R/C tarantula behind the sign ... the hit of the night, actually.



The graveyard and fogger were off to the right. I attempted to use the landscape hose / tubing hack that I saw in several spots on the net to get a nice "carpet" of fog. It just wouldn't work for me ... too much resistance and much of the fog backup up into the fogger.



Overall, it was a lot of fun! I had limited time this year due to my job, but I'm already looking forward to next year (and starting much earlier).
