Bonjour and Hello!

I am new to this forum *as you probably guessed by me posting in the new members area*. I live with my family in Ontario, Canada. I have been a Halloween fanatic for years upon years. I even bought a house on Elm Street, just so I could decorate and have it be a Nightmare theme. Last year my basement got wet and ruined almost my entire display. So this year I am starting over. Nothing too elaborate because I am on maternity leave and we don't have tons of cash. But just to show how "into" this I am. I am actually usuing my baby girl as a prop. Yes, its true. We have a huge victorian and we are doing a spooky/haunted mansion theme and we have bought our wee one a spider costume which I am altering so it can fit over her jolly jumper and she is going to be a scary spider.

We have a lot of kids in our new neighborhood so I tend to lean towards less scary and more spooky.

Well I start next weekend! I have to figure out a bunch of placements and get my husband up on a ladder so....lol Normally I start way sooner but this year I am not working because of baby and have more time to devote to my haunt. And we live in town now and I am wary of vandals and thieves.
