Hi everybody! I found this forum when I was looking for ideas for our first Adult Halloween party. I found some helpful ideas for music and games(especially the Tempt Your Fate game). My girlfriend and I live in Columbus, Ohio in case any locals read this and want to attend. I was originally going to do a industrial sort of theme, but found some amazing hand painted castle drywalls from a Harry Potter promotion at one of the local theaters. Our theme will be more sinister though. We're thinking medieval and I've found some creepy art from the period to hang. I've been working on a couple different music playlists. One is on our itunes and the other is on Grooveshark, which I can share the link if anyone is interested. For drinks we are serving several Pumpkin beers, some Halloween appropriate beers like White Rascal, Hobgoblin, Heavy Seas, Great Lakes Nosferatu, and Original Sin cider. We are also going to have a Gothic Punch(which is 5 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of champagne, and orange juice). I found a three tiered flowing plastic, lit fountain online that we are going to use to simulate blood flow. And we are also going to do some hot spiked spiced cider, which I'm going to let people add their own alcohol(Jack, Apple pie Moonshine, and Kraken or Sailor Jerry rum). We are also considering Candy Corn Jelly shots and possibly some in petri dishes. I think we may have some extra booze after this. Possibly some puking party goers too, but hopefully not. I'm slowly working on decorations. We like the DIY ideas, but probably only have time to do one this year and it will probably be a burnt corpse or a scarecrow. I did get an American DJ 700 Storm Fog Machine along with black label low lying ground fog juice and I bought the Vortex Fog Chiller which I saw a lot of people online making their own for less than $10, but I figured I'd give it a shot. So far the design seems like it produce some good chilled fog with little effort as far as draining the melted ice. I'm looking forward to sharing and learning on the forums here. Feel free to email me if you have any ideas, input, questions, or just want to say hi.
