I do make an attempt at a haunted house....well not so much of haunted but definitely go for the gore. I use white sheets to turn my front walkway into a tunnel. They are slashed and covered in blood. Hung overhead are blacklights and strobes. Then I use creepy cloth all over inside along with hanging body parts. On one side of the hallway I put up some torture chamber pics I found online and a body coming out of the wall. Right by the door I put up a table where I have a pair of pants stuffed and red/purple jello coming out of the torso part. When the trick or treaters come to get their candy I am eating away at the body. This year I want to go completely different and make a gorrific circus. I feel like its about time for change.

Wow - that sounds intense! The TOTers must freak!

Ya it gets em pretty good. Even some of the adults won't come up the walkway. I have managed to recruit a few people to help me by reaching through the slits in the sheets. The best part is when the little smart mouths say they aren't scared but then scream like little girls!
