Hey ghouls and goblins! I'm a 22 year old Halloween-Fanatic lady from the east coast. I was SO glad to come across a true halloween forum like this. The members seem so nice & helpful so I had to join!

Another reason I joined, is well-as most of us probably are- I'm on a TIGHT budget this year and I love scrolling through posts from other DIY/ Haunt-it-yourself'ers for ideas and inspiration. Every home made costume, prop, decoration, ect. is amazing to me. I'd love to share as well as learn, some tips & tricks. Esp. makeup! Whenever I get some time, i'll be sure to post some pics!

Soo excited this forum exsists! So HOORAY! and only approx. 50 DAYS LEFT!!

~Has anyone else besides me, started buying or making decorations or costumes?

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you'll fit right in here! Glad to have you on board and look forward to your participation. There are a LOT of us who have been buying/decorating for awhile now, so the season is definitely in full swing!

Thanks soo much jdubbya! Either I'm seriously sheltered or just surround myself with the ''boring'' kind, but I've honestly never seen or knew of so many people who prepare for halloween so far in advance. Not to mention-so many people who genuinely look forward to & LOVE the holiday. Truly makes me feel like a kid again. I'm loving it here already! Can't wait to discover what creeps my way! xo

Hey lady! Welcome aboard. Yup, they start Halloween REAL early around here. If you see some members who look like zombies, it's just because they've been building props 24/7 since November 1st. But they've got tons of talent, creativity and BRAAAAIANS. It'll be good to add yours to the soup.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcomes. In my past experience, forums haven't seemed to be so kind lol.
@notjustaphaze & gobbygruesome: AGREED! Me to, I hope I can be as talented, crafty, & knowledgeable as well on day!
@spooks magee & halloween goblin, greetings to you & thanks for the welcome!

Just wanna say: It's people like the ones on this forum, who seriously added a spark to my childhood. Decking out their houses, adults dressing up, making haunted houses, going the extra inch just to entertain the TOT's & their families for just one night. So HOORAY for all of YOUS! Keep doing your haunting Halloween habits, believe me, it's worth it! Magical & memorable<3

Glad to have you aboard! Sounds like you're a perfect fit for our little hoard! And yes indeed, we've been hard at it for a while now. I walked in to our local Spirit store on the day it opened and no sooner had I stepped two feet inside the store when the lady behind the cash shouted out to me "Hey! Welcome back! You're starting early this year!" Of course my reply, stated with a sly grin and devilish eyes, was: "Starting early implies I ever stopped in the first place! Glad to see you're back this year!".
