Well, I've finally taken the plunge and signed up! Happy to be here; I've been really impressed with the creativity, ideas and fun on this site. The handiwork and craftsmanship of the DIY projects has really been something to see. My motivation was spurred by my and my wife doing our second annual Halloween party at our house this year. I've long loved Halloween but never took the effort to really invest time/money/resources to make it the most fun possible.
This year, I'm doing that. Going to do a cemetery in the front yard, decorate the house more, etc.
My only challenge at this point is time! And having grown up in the Midwest but being in TX for 10 summers now, I still haven't gotten used to sweating on Halloween, which has happened too often. Either way, glad to be here.![]()

Welcome, and howdy neighbor!

Welcome to the forum. I can sympathize about the heat. I live in AZ and I am waiting a couple of weeks for it to cool down enough to make my boarded windows for this year's cemetery haunt. We have a great tutorial on how to make headstones, Terra made it. I wander thrift stores to find things for my headstones so don't overlook them as a resource too.
