Hello - I am very new to the site and just have been reading and getting my bearings before posting today. I am so giddy and inspired from reading posts and seeing the fabulous pictures. I am so happy to have found a place where I can talk with people who love all things Halloween as much as I do!
I started my love of Halloween very young when my Mom would throw us great parties...by the time I got to high school our Halloween parties were legendary. As an adult I have carried on the tradition. We have an all out - decorate your heart out party every two years and try to rotate houses between mine, my Aunts and my Parents to keep things inspired and fresh (they are so much work we need a year off in between to give us time to recooperate and enjoy many of the festivities we don't get to partake in on party years). It has the benefit of making our parties a much looked forward to event but the non party years we always have to fight the temptation to give in! My Aunt (Spookerstar) and I have become so engrossed in it we have practically run out of storage space at her garage and my shed - we talk and plan for them all year round and last year even attended a professional haunters convention. We have started dreaming of the day we will open our own haunt but until then we live for that most special month of the year! Happy Haunting Everyone, I look forward to talking with many of you!

Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
