I found this site searching for ideas for developing my evil clown/fun house scene for my annual Sick & Twisted Halloween party. We don't decorate for "trick or treaters"; this is purely an adults only party and it is definantly talked about year round. Over the past four years our arsenol of horrors has grown and developed, but we mostly use things we find at thrift stores and thinks we make our selves. I hardly ever buy a new prop and limit anything new to purchasing after halloween when it's on sale. Considering that we barely splurge on props and limit too much of the campy looking decor we do damn good and manage to create a freaky party that had 80 guests in 2010. We include every room and begin stripping everything to bare walls in August, however all the details and new additions are planned and created through out the year. I love naturally creepy so the main room has nothing that is obviously "Halloweeny" then other rooms have there oen scenes, along with the backyard. We do an art show every year with works that reflect the occassion and we have a black light lit dance floor for the truely fearless. Anyways, obviously you shouldn't get me started on Halloween cause I may not stop. Happy to be here!
