Hi! I am new to the site and happy I found it! I wanted to introduce myself by sharing a link to the post that reflects how my husband and I celebrate Halloween in Brooklyn.

We love Halloween and several years ago decided that just becasue we don't have a house we coudl still "scare" the trick or treaters.

Growing up in Alabama, there was always that one house that made you ask "is that a dummy or is that thing real?" We decided to be that for our neighborhood. It went from my husband sitting very still in a costume with a bowl of candy "bahing" people as they come up to get candy. "Are you real?" to a full blown electrocution this year.

Now we have kids and adults walk by and say "that's the house!" I am not sure we have been more flattered.
