Hello Everyone...
I am really happy to finally find a good active forum for my obsession that is Halloween.
I am in the United States Army. Part of the 101st Airborne Division. I am one Halloween home and One overseas in the Desert. That usually doesn't stop me from spreading the fear and the cheer. Last year we turned a Dining Facility into a great Haunted house! We pushed over 500 soldiers through in 3 hours. The picture on my profile of the Saw Pig Mask was my character from that night. This year a few of my like minded friends on post put our efforts together and had a pretty good haunted yard. We got some great scares out of it!
I made my first item from DIY tutorials this year as well. I went to the monster list and created a fog chiller. The feeling i got from completing that project was great! I cant wait until the Halloween after next when I can do another haunted yard here in the states. Of course my hopes are to also do a Haunted house while im deployed again.
I started doing haunted yards about 10 years ago with my father in law in Indiana. He has taught me so much! I am very proud to have learned from someone that has such a true love for the craft.
I cant wait to get started on being a active member of this community.
Thanks for having such a wonderful home for the haunted here on line.
Yours In service,
Joe Welsh

Thanks. I know last year we had a great time in Bagram, Afghanistan with the Haunted house. Words cant possibly describe how much I love Halloween and bringing that special feeling and gift of the Haunting season to others. It was a pleasure to be able to do that for my fellow soldiers last year and it will be equally enjoyable in the 2011 season as well.
This year a couple of my buddies and the wife and kids all teamed up our efforts and had an amazing time here on post. We had more than a few people that wouldnt even come up the drive way, and several that came back numerous times in the same night. Lots of good scares and memories to take with us back over seas.
I cant wait to start planning our next rendezvous with fear.
thanks again guys for the warm welcome. I cant wait to learn from each and everyone of you.
-Joey
