Okay, I've seen these sorts of posts before, but I thought, 'why not'?

Just post at least 1 Haiku a day my fellow haunters. If you do it, you'll spare yourselves the pain of having to read another one of mine. lol.

That being said, I guess I have to start.

~ Monster Mud in July ~
Hellfire on my neck
Sweat drips into my bucket
Thinning out the mix

Well... it's been 24 hours... so you have only yourselves to blame.

No fly ... don't land there!
Wet paint on a tombstone
Now I must paint webs

Today's Haiku is based on the events that filled my day yesterday.

~ 1 Month Til Kreepfest (July 14, 2010) ~

Doing Kreepfest work
Flyers and posters in hand
Stranded by dead car

Another day dawns... another bad haiku.

~ Props & BBQ ~
Be it foam or beef
the burning smell fills my nose
and I think "Summer"

~Pining for Fall ~
Red leaves underfoot
The smell of crisp autumn air
July is too hot

~Home Improvement~
I ask for oops paint
Chipped boards, cracked wood, broken foam
Lowe's thinks I am crazy

~ Prepping the Halloween Hole ~
Black cat is prowling
Amidst tombstones and cobwebs
Don't pee in that box!

Today's Haiku was written by my daughter, Squeakerbone

~ Summer's Ending ~
Sleeping in til 10
No more lazy days for me
School is starting soon

Which inspired me to write my side.

Cartoons all day long
"Can I have cash for the pool?"
Thank God school's starting!

Each year higher than the last
