Thread: The Curse

This is the background story I am planningto use for my haunt.

" The house, a home built in a far out of the way town in Florida, had been given a curse, 21 winters passed, by the houses first resident. Not even the deceased could miss it. Nothing dead leaves. The family, their pets, even revenants with the grave misfortune of entering the property are snared.
During the night, the house comes alive. Beginning in the twilight hour, when the night dances with the day, the world becomes blurry and those caught in between life and death convey 1 simple message. “We are here.”
The houses first residence was the mother of three children. Upon moving into the house she became ill and never left the house on her own accord again. She became a recluse and slowly withered away. Whenever she moved her health declined resulting her agoraphobia. She was full of fear. Her fear turned to anger. Her anger turned to hatred, a hatred so fierce it began to manifest itself in the real world. Upon her death her body was carried out, but she never left.
For 8 years ghosts began to haunt the house. Then a violent poltergeist killed the remaining family. They were buried in the family cemetery and no one moved in afterwards. After 13 years the house was deemed uninhabitable. It sits there in disrepair to this day."

It fits my need fairly well and it's more for me than the people anyway so it should work.

That's a cool idea pumpkin. I might need to do a final draft of this then *ponder* Maybe I could rewrite it as a notice. Maybe as an epitaphe. I just butchered that word I bet.
