    My wife plowed through the books just after the first movie came out on DVD. Upon her finishing the last book, she coaxed me to sit down and watch the first movie with her...and blech! I'm a huge horror fan and LOVE all things vampire, but I just couldn't buy into it. about the only thing I did like about the movie was the fact that Bella drives the same truck that I do.
