I'm not a huge fan of teen or child fiction (I didn't like Harry Potter, please don't hate me!), but like the rest of the gang here I couldn't put it down. I think Ms. Meyers has an elegant quality to her writing that transcends age. It definitely did not feel like I was reading stories meant for the teen crowd.

OEJ and I walked to the library yesterday afternoon and I picked up Eclipse. Had it done by midnight last night. Still waiting for OEJ's audiobook version to come in so he can hear it at work. I'm on the waiting list for Breaking Dawn. While I was waiting for these books I read The Host. Not bad but I would have liked the ending a bit better if it went another way.

Hi, I agree I could not put these books down! I am just starting the 4th book I wished I could space them out so they wouldn't be over to soon but that didn't happen. I had the same problem with HP, I wanted to go slow so that I could enjoy it longer but the need to read was just to great lol. For those who have read....what is the score ....Who would you choose?

Edward of course. I do love Jacob, but it never seemed like there was any question. I never expected her to choose Jacob.
I am so sad the series is over. I want more.

As appealing as Jacob was in many, many ways....it was always Edward.
