I was curious if anyone else was reading this series? What are your thoughts? I find it so hard to put down these books! I'm really excited about the latest: Odd Hours but haven't purchased it yet.

You're the one that got me into these books. I am just now reading Brother Odd, I fell behind. It's ok so far, only about a 1/4 through.
When did this new one come out? I'll have to see if it's at my library!

Ha, that's right I forgot about that! Brother Odd was different......we can discuss that one when you're done! The new one came out a couple of months ago, I'm waiting for my 40% off coupon at Borders before I buy it. My hubby is still on the 2nd one....so we haven't been able to talk about much of anything yet!

I've read them...really enjoyed the first one and well the second one too...Forever Odd. Brother Odd was different form the previous ones, but still really liked it. Keeped me wondering what was going on until the end.
I didnt' know there was another one coming out! How exciting! If Loving Halloween is Wrong....Then I Don't Wanna Be Right

Yeah Brother Odd really did go a different route. I really like how he keeps you guessing until the end too. Odd Hours is the one that came out a couple of months ago and there is also In Odd We Trust, but I'm not sure when that is due to be released.

Guess i need to catch up on the Odd series. I haven't read Odd hours, I'll read that some time this winter, and by then maybe the In Odd We Trust will be released.

I love Odd Thomas. What a guy!! Koontz's imagination and the way he looks at life, death and good vs. evil is just fascinating, isn't it? I really enjoyed Brother Odd, and the latest was kind of different, and set us up for a continuing story, can't wait to see what happens next! I don't start an Odd Thomas book unless I have uninterrupted reading time at hand...I can't put them down, either.

I dunno where I've been, but I just discovered the Odd Thomas series last year, and I LURVE LURVE LURVE them. Odd Hours didn't disappoint; it takes Odd's journey and calling to a new level.
Odd Thomas is the most compelling character I've encountered in a novel series. For me he even tops Harry Potter. I'd almost love to see the series made into films, but I'm afraid that they'd get screwed up somehow in the process.
A little OT, the Christopher Snow series is good too (Fear Nothing, Seize the Night), but my favorite Dean Koontz book at this moment is Watchers. It's a standalone novel, but it's a doozy!Gothikim

My husband read Watchers also and he really liked it. It's on my list of upcoming reads. Right now I'm reading Koontz: Tick Tock.
The Odd series definately has movie potential, but they would really have to do it right."Not everything is strippers and booze and buckets of blood. Why do you guys have buckets of blood?"
