    Lightbulb Halloween poem – 05-08-2008,03:01 PM


    Hello! I had to write a poem for school and thought I'd wright it about Halloween so here you go.
    Halloween Path

    The Autumn moon rises behind the cloads
    The calander reads the 31
    The day in October known to all
    The darkest day of the year
    Dark it will be until,
    Flash, light
    Lights orange not white
    Orange and green
    Orange and green and red
    Fog and screams and spiders
    Skeletons and ghosts and graves
    Cobwebs and strobe lights and pumpkins
    The streats alive with fright until
    Silence
    All but the wind
    The voices are gone but the lights shine on
    Orange
    Orange and Green
    Orange and Green and Red
    Lighting the path for the dead
    All of the others have fled
    The believers, pretenders
    The real creature's time is now
    They stalk the shadows dark and unseen
    Down the path of Halloween.
    It's Halloween! It's Halloween! The moon is full and bright. We will see what can't be seen on any other night.

    ^ Thanks all! Here is one of the other poems I wrote about deep sea creatures

    Deep Down
    -----------------------------------------------
    I am speaking for the others that live in the deep
    Pitch balck for no sun can reach
    I am speaking for the aliens that we do not yet know exist
    Down deep they float unseen
    Alone
    Some have lights
    Some are red
    Some blend in , barely seen
    I am speaking for the floaters that cannot waste anything
    Deep down in the darkness they live
    Longing fo somthing
    Some long for food
    Some long for light
    Some long for a name
    It's Halloween! It's Halloween! The moon is full and bright. We will see what can't be seen on any other night.
