Oh great Moon high and bright,
Brightened by borrowed light,
Tinted red with Sun's depart,
How you quicken the pace of my heart,
Watching you drift across the sky,
Captures this lonesome creature's eye,
Your eerie palor and sallow glow,
Makes the night a wonderous show,
Nocturnal beasts left and right,
Dance and play with delight,
You hide behind the clouds so dark,
its makes the night grim and stark,
But when you show your face again,
Calls of joy do refrain,
You give life to the night,
Without you is to be without sight,
So I praise you great Moon high and bright,
Brightened by borrowed light.

...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

Sounds almost Paganish!
"I never drink....wine. Well maybe just this once!"

was just looking at the moon and felt like praising it, the sun gets too much attention...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

Bitter-sweet angel Apathy
Cold in heart, mind, and speech
The strangest girl you'll ever find
Always honest, but never kind.
