Mary had a little lamb,
And now it is no more,
One quick slash across the chest,
It's blood was on the floor,
She laughed about it day and night,
And we began to fear,
We sent her off to make her right,
But nothings changed i hear,
Mary's lost we have no hope,
There's nothing we can do,
Around her neck we tied a rope
T'was only the crow that flew.
Just something i put together a while ago.

Very nice! It is good to meet another poet.
BTW: I don't know if you chose your name because of the Michigan Dogman, but you should check out the post called "Dogmen/Werewolves" in the "Paranormal and the Unexplained" section.

It's a cool name! I love the dogman subject and can't wait for Linda's next book. But I'm getting off-topic...

back on topic... poem spawned out of boredom waiting for more victi... visitors to the community haunt themed as 'Scary Tales'. I was stationed in the slaughtered little lamb room and it just sort of popped in my head.

nobody likes me
everybody hates me
i guess i'll go eat worms
long thin slimy ones
big fat juicy ones
plucked freash from the corpse
in soups, salads, and toast,
nothin' better, great with chedder
but i probably shoud'nt boast.
...i dunno...boredom does strange things to me......somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.
