I guess there aren't many ARGers around so far....eh well. Anyway, meant to do this last night and forgot so here ya go - I have to share. Some of you may well already know about it but this is for those who didn't - if you are an author and looking to publish your work, there is a fabulous option to consider that's becoming more popular - print on demand.

The main one is www.lulu.com - no up front costs, low production costs, your own storefront, option to sell on Amazon and others, royalties and more.

I'm NOT any sort of rep for this company - I've got my own books in the works but have ordered from LuLu and the book received that was produced by them was high quality and shipped quickly, which settled it for me this wasn't a fly by night operation or a scam....and that motivated me more to get my own books rolling. I'm a writer anyway - but the hassle of the publishing world wasn't worth the trouble when I could reach more online on a site of my own.

A friend directed me to LuLu and made the suggestion just because he wanted an easier way to read my work without having to sit at the computer for a long time and urged me to give it a shot. I ordered first to see how it worked for the end user and was really impressed. I've been sharing it with people ever since. A lot of you post your work here and other places, so this is a great option to consider to get yourself published and marketed on your own.

Plus there's that side benefit that when you can go, "This is my book" and hand it off, people think you're way more famous than you really are!
