I just now noticed all these are 2005 posts....so maybe nobody even hangs out here in this one these days but I'll give it a shot.

Do you have an interest in ARGs? Have you played or created any? Would you be interested in putting a team togther to get something rolling? I've got a few ideas, web design skillz, and a pretty nifty insight into human behavior on offer. And I like live action reality types of games.

I've got one in particular that's actually educational in just the ways and means most every woman breathing would kill to know, that no guy on the planet knows, and that education embedded into an ARG would not only rock, if it caught on as the underground game it'd be designed to be, it damn well just might overhaul this crazy self termination trip society seems to be caught up in.....but that's dreamin big.

Right now, I'd be happy with a few new like minded friends who might be up for a little bit of the old *ultra mind f*ck* game style....

Oh...and for you who are completely unfamiliar with the concept of ARG, it stands for Alternate Reality Gaming....been around 20 years in one form or another, usually local game 'cells' (cool word for group of nerds with too much time on their hands, basically). It's a cross media genre - using real time artifacts and interaction with fictional characters, usually involves some form or clue/puzzle solving, and the plot base is set in advance, but the real time interaction is what drives the story. That's it in a nutshell.

However, what I have in mind is more akin to an AREE - an Alternate Reality Entertainment Experience....real life fused with fictional plots (like this is all that novel in the world today!) and much closer to Consumer Recreation Services ah la The Game (Michael Douglas). I've been developing a local gaming co. but would like to develop an online network as well.

Hope there are ARGers in this crowd! We'll see how it flies..............
