Belief in ghosts is the most basic and fundamental element of human spiritual existence and is thus natural to mankind, and I believe hard-wired and inherent in the human psyche. As for what they are, they may be anything from the spirits of departed mortals to the essence of pre-existing non-corporeal, non-mortal/immortal life forms that have been on Earth since its beginning and tranverse this world and others as we would our own.
Witches, yes, not in the mystical sense as much. I hear there are still some that practice the 'Craft' , but not the whole pointed hat, wart on nose story.
Vampires, again, not in the mythical sense but in the sense that people do play 'blood games' and share blood and call themselves vampires. Though Vlad the Impaler's Castle would certainly be somewhere I'd love to visit as well.
Ghosts, lets just say that I've never had my own experience, but with sooo many stories out there, there must be truth to the spirits/ghosts stories.
"Everything I am is yours. And all you are is mine."--Dracula 2000
Witches certainly exist, the point is if you believe in the power of witchcraft or not.
I do believe in ghost but to me it's more a way of thinking.
Concerning vampires, drinking blood doesn't make you are one of them... you know there a lots of blood fetishists but they're not vampire at all.
