The Bleeding Portraits!

May just be an Urban Myth someone tired to take advantage of, but when I was in High School I used to go about 6 weeks every summer and work on my Uncle's Dairy farm in Western NY State. The summer of 1971 that I was there a big to do arose about the local "haunted house" that just about every town has. It was discovered one day by the caretaker that all of the portraits in the old house were bleeding out the eyes. The state police came to investigate and everything, but my summer visit was over before anything got settled. I never did hear how it was resolved. I'll have to ask my cousin the next time I'm back there.
