Was a huckster he,
Entertainment bridging truth
Fidgeting as the sayer-sooth
miles of lies,
miles of smiles,
Failure never tries
Truths may be bent
Creedence lent
Laughing holding a bankroll
It is so easy to repent
"Come see my little people,
that I took from Poverty Street,
I keep them from abuse
All costumed very neat
Come see the freaks
(but then, aren't we ALL?)
Siameses twins? Read the poster on the wall!
All of God's wonders, and a few of satan's too
"There but for the grace of God", gimps me or you!
Rest well tonight in your bed knowing you are blessed
Imagine putting four legs into your pants
every morning when you got dressed!

Phineas "T" built a house!!

Phineas spared no expense
His house was 90ft. tall, IMMENSE!
Modern conveinences the likes never seen
Speaking tubes for summoning maids to come to clean
Plumbing, running water, gas lights, quite the estate
They plowed the field via elephant(unless the train was late!)
The "plowing" was a "Show"
For the train passengers, you know!
Phineas said "NO SMOKING!" in this abode
A painter lit up, bare earth lays now
Where Phineas once strode
Fortunes made and lost, he had the time
To recoup it all charging museum admission, half a dime.
"Wonders Of The World!" Phineas said they were
People paid, saw, smirked, and knew they weren't sure?
Finances barely drained
Yet were SO ENTERTAINED!
