Even all this time later, I'm still a little sad that Daylight Savings doesn't happen until after Halloween these days. It needs to be nice and DARK and CREEPY for kids to get a real kick out of TOT, you know? And for the scares to be really really scary.
Just thought I'd put that in...though I don't know why...LOL.
ETA: Oh, no...should have been in the General forum -- sorry!

Maybe I'm confused but wouldn't we "fall back" and that would mean there is less chance of it being dark during TOT?

I agree. I think about that every year.
I long for the old days..............

Yes, "fall back" (turn the clocks back)...which makes it lighter earlier in the morning and darker at night. But now that doesn't happen until the first weekend of November. It used to happen the weekend before Halloween and it would be very dark out by probably 6:00-ish.

I'm one of those "day of" people so, honestly, for me it just means more daylight to set things up & get it all out.
Plus I freakin' HATE it getting dark so early anyway, so any time we can put that off a week or 2 is fine by me.Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!
