Well, where to start heh....it's an anthology film, like Twilight Zone or Creepshow...the only connector is being on the same Halloween night and the little demon kid in the scarecrow type mask. Content of individual stories is also fairly archetypal halloween stuff...poisoned candy, predators/werewolves, the urban legend of the ghost kids from the school bus, etc.

It jumps around in time a little but if you pay close attention to the characters you will see how they ended up later in the night. I'm not one to catch all the little details in a movie but I was glued to this one

This movie is basically telling you to respect Halloween and it's traditions. It feels like a classic 80's horror movie. Kind of like Creepshow but all 4 stories are somewhat intertwined. Like they all happen around the same time. Example: In the 4th story, you can see a guy from the 1st story doing what he was doing in the 1st story for a minute but now you see it from the 4th story's point of view if that makes any sense.
Overall, I must say this is my favorite HALLOWEEN related movie since well, Halloween.

Ok so I got the creepy kid in the scarecrow mask enforcing the Halloween Traditions (girl dressed like a robot being killed for blowing out the jack o lantern, and guy being tortured for not handing out candy on Halloween Night...who was also the bus driver) Can someone fill me in on the principal and the sisters that were were wolves..? So the principal put razor blades in the candy....but why was he at the party where the sisters where werewolves? How are those two related? TRICK OR TREAT

The principal was out on the streets during the parade killing women(the one in the alley)He was also killing children who TOTed at his house. The wolf girls picked him up at the parade (I assume) and took him to their party to sacrifice. I think that made Sam happy

First of all its "Trick R Treat." Trick OR Treat is some lame movie from the 80s.
Secondly you probably should have put a Spoiler Alert when mentioning the bus drivers and the man in the masks identity.
Anyway Wilkins is pretty much just a sick guy. He makes his kid think its okay to use heads as jack o lanterns. then he goes out and kills women pretending to be a vampire.
I LOVED the movie! And it may seem like it doesn't connect, because it is actually 4 different stories being told. This should be very obvious, but if its not well there it is. 4 different stories, that may not completely relate to each other, other than they take place in the same town on the same night.
The saddest part I think is at the end when it shows Wilkins' son sitting on the steps alone. Granted his dad was messed up, but now that poor kid is all alone. However it could be interesting to see what happens to him if they make a sequel.

It is an anthology movie, one of the best new Halloween movie in years.
The stories were filled with werewolves, ghosts, the undead, mad men and other Halloween goodness. What more would you want from a Halloween movie?

There are four tales that all tie together. In the end, it's all about the halloween spirit and revenge. Sam is an awesome little fellow. I suggest you get it.
halloween is a super cool holiday.
