AMC used to be with their MonsterFest a few years ago.
However, the past few years have been stuff like Halloween 4 and 5 and House on Haunted Hill remake countless times etc.Last year they played NOTLD back to back to back? Was that lazy prgramming or just apathy? (for the record, NOTLD is a favorite of mine)
TCM has a pretty good line up this year, regardless that is why I have my own Halloween marathon during October.

I've been watching AMC fearfest (Monsterfest from like 1996-2007), since early 00's. I know in the late 90's, they used to only air older movies and it would only last for about 5 days in total. This year is the longest I have seen. The previous longest lasted for 10 days, Monsterfest X in 2006. This year is 14 days, so pretty cool.
Last year I think they had budget issues. They played only 42 movies, this year they have over 60. Unfortunately, like 4 of their early morning time slots are showing infomercials this year. That kind of ruins things a little, but oh well.
All things considered, this could be the best line-up I've seen for a AMC Halloween marathon.
