I am a movie enthuisist and love all genres especially movies that are themed for Halloween. I am doing my 40 movies of Halloween marathon.

I started last night and watched one of my all time favorites "The Monster Squad" For those who havent heard of it I strongly recommend this movie. Its like the Goonies with all the classic monsters trying to take over the world. Here is an info link if you have not seen it.

Tonight I will be watching Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

So I am curious what are you all watching? I thought this would be a blast to give info to each other on the movies out there to see.

I put on The Wolfman (2010) a couple nights ago, the original the night later, and last night we watched Trick r Treat. Today we picked up a double movie DVD of Halloweentown and Halloweentown 2. I think we'll be putting that on a bit later.

We only put TrickrTreat on because my brother had never seen and always hears me talking about it. He stopped over, so I popped it on.

I think we'll pretty much run through all our Halloween/horror movies and some twice or three times. lol

Started Night of the Living Dead (1990) yesterday, but stopped it around 30 mins because I couldn't get over the 90s campyness. Plus, I'm definitely a fast moving zombie fan. The slow ones just aren't that terrifying. The hubby and I went and saw Resident Evil 3D yesterday and that was pretty cool. The effects are awesome. Tonight our movie will be Gothika, which I got at disc replay for $.99. Couldn't pass it up. I'll be breaking out the History Channel Halloween DVDs soon.
Her blood coursed through my veins sweeter than life itself. And as it did, Lestat's words made sense to me. I knew peace only when I killed and when I heard her heart in that terrible rhythm, I knew again what peace could be.

I am watching within this week let's say - Buried Alive 1 (1990), Trick R Treat, and Don't Look Under the Bed. In the actual theaters, I want to see the Devil.

I just want to mention that the movie topics actually go under "Horror discussion" instead of General Halloween. Trust me, I think everyone has made that mistake before.
"Dollar Tree - The High Price to Pay for $1 Prices" China stuff, taking out other stores, around every corner - 136 in 100 miles, poor wages for employees. - I only say this because people say the same stuff about Wal-Mart, but than they go to Dollar Tree.
