hey, im having a horror movie party the night before halloween and im planning on watching 3 movies that havent been determined. I want the 3rd one to be a halloween related( nothing like promb night, cry wolf, the stepfather) pure scary movie. I already saw the original halloween so thats out of the picture, but the only requirment is it must be pg 13 or r with no nudity, heavy, swearing, ect. Can you name any good ones?

I was going to recommend "Trick or Treat" that came out last year, but it has brief nudity. It's a great movie exploring several Halloween traditions.

How about "The Blair Witch Project" or "Sleepy Hollow". Both actually take place during the season of Halloween although neither really harp on it very much. There is a brief mention of it during the early moments of Blair Witch and there is a Halloween party in Sleepy Hollow.
You should still watch the original Halloween no matter what though.

Here are a few I believe will work. Everyone of these movies is very good to outstanding.
Jaws
All the Universal Classics (Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolfman)
The Ring (heads and tails the scariest of the group, plus its good)
Drag me to Hell
Sleepy Hollow
The Sixth Sense
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Psycho (1960)2011 Ultimate Spider, click below

Midnight Movie is a good movie to watch.
I agree with Scary, you should still watch the priginal Halloween"One day dude, I'm gonna get off the bus, and I'm gonna run in the woods and never come back, and when I come back, I'm gonna be the ninth master"

I was just goingto say Drag Me To Hell too. I for some reason find myself watching it again and again since it's on one of the movie channels all this month. Really funny/gross movie and PG-13 !!

I don't care how many times you've seen the original Halloween... A horror movie night on or near Halloween isn't complete without Halloween 1978 and Halloween 1981 (I watch both as one big movie
). Trick 'r Treat is a must watch as well.
