I DO! Haha.....I always look up and find out what movies will be on tv and what I will watch from the movies I have at home....
Unfortunately ABC Family and any of the other tv channel websites haven't posted what their Halloween movie line ups will be this year yet so I'm still waiting impatiently haha :P

I do the same thing!! It's one of my favorite traditions to watch as many of the Halloween shows as I can! Oh, and I love History channel all the time anyway, but my favorite month for history channel is hands down, October!

I don't watch a lot of the Halloween type of tv shows although I do try to see the Peanuts It's the Great Pumpkin and I absolutely LOVE the Simpsons Halloween specials. I really wish they would do a box set of dvds containing all the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes...I'd buy it in a second!!!

I do try to watch a horror movie most nights in October...really gets me in the spirit (as if I need the help though...lol).
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Ok my apologies for the double post. It just occurred to me (D'oh!!) that I'm sitting here with a world of knowledge at my fingertips so I decided to Google the Simpsons, Treehouse of Horror dvd just to see if it is ACTUALLY available.
I was happy to see that it was but upon further review I find myself more confused than happy...The dvd contains the Treehouse of Horror episodes, V, VI, VII, and XII.
Now why would a dvd contain a mixed bag of episodes like that? What about 1-4, and 8-11??As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

I'm really eccentric about Halloween; I don't watch much horror during the year, then at Halloween I take the entire week off work and binge - movie after movie after movie. I have about a hundred films on the "Halloween Watch" pile! Probably make it through about thirty.

I always keep track of all the movies I plan on watching, I also do a 13th day count down until Halloween comes and watch other movies for Halloween. I usually watch classic horror movies, Halloween themed movies and The Haunting series I own on dvd.
Don't watch too many Halloween movies on tv, cause they always seem to cut a lot out, plus I can't stand commercials, lol. The Haunting tv show always seemed to be my favorite show though that I use for Halloween cause it's spooky to watch in the dark.

I always check what TCM is showing in October. Plus watch a bajillion Horror DVDs.
Is it weird to get such a cozy, warm feeling from watching scary movies?
