We all know of movies that are so bad they are good. We've been entertained by movies from Ed Wood (Plan 9 from Outter-space) and Llyod Kaufman (Toxic Avenger, Nuke'em High, Surf Nazi's must Die)
Well beings Halloween is coming around are there any of these B-Movies that you like? Well maybe ones you wouldn't seek out but if your flicking through the channels you'll give them a watch?
Lets hear 'em. I know I'll keep an eye out for some of your recommendations.
For me:
"Billy the Kid VS. Dracula"
YouTube- Billy the Kid vs. Dracula
Oh man, terrible doesn't even begin to say anything about this movie. It was one of those 1950's Movie house Movies, the kind that was a double feature and attached to something just as Awesomely Awful.
I am not 100% sure of the plot (and I've seen it a couple times) but it seems to me that Dracula figures he'll take a Vacation to America in the 1800's. Anyways, while he is there he gets the hots for this chick -- the chick turns out to be none other than, the now retired, Billy the Kid's old lady. So Dracula kills this other guy, I forgot his name, but its not important-- and assumes his idenity so that he could get close to Billy the Kids' Cool-Aid (aka, Billy The Kids Old Lady)
Billy the Kid kinda knows that Dracula is DRACULA but doesnt seem to care much till he is moving in on his ACTION. Dracula puts the Bite on the chick, turns her into a vampire, and Billy the Kid figures its time to 'slap iron' with the Prince of Darkness.
For what it is, its not a bad movie and I make it a point to give it a watch every season when it comes on. It's normally on Turner Classic Movies Channel if you guys have that one, they generally play it every October with a collection of other cheesy films.

Midnight Movie. The killer's presence is a little akward, but it was pretty good.

For me it's the 1980's Night Of The Demons. It was so chessey but the demon effects and acting were pretty odd wich made it interesting to watch.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

Forgot one, Blood Surf. Plot is sort of like Jaws, but with a crocodile.

Simon Says. Sort of cheesy but real gory.

Campy classics.....hmmmmm.....how about these gems:
"Eight-Legged Freaks"
"Leviathan"-this was a great horror movie until they made the final monster look like a cartoon version of 'the creature from the black lagoon'
"The Relic"-a bit slow, but a great monster
"Species"
"Killer Klowns From Outer Space"
"Dr. Giggles"- I'm not much for blood and gore, but this guy was genuinely CREEPY
"Trilogy of Terror" (the original)
"It's Alive"-another one that scared me as a kid
"The Car"
"Killdozer"
And, of course, you have to include some of the moldy oldies:
"It Conquered The World"-this creature was the original 'conehead'
"The Brain That Wouldn't Die"-that thing they had locked up in the closet scared the HELL out of me as a kid
"The Giant Claw"-a giant rubber buzzard terrorizes the world
There are probably countless others I can't remember at the moment...these are the few that stick out in my memory."Waiter, there's a hair in my soylent green!"

I've always had a fondness for The Screaming Skull and The Killer Shrews. I like to watch them both sometime during the month of October. I should also throw in anything by William Castle; the original House on Haunted Hill and 13 Ghosts are two more cheesy Halloween staples of mine.
I never knew there was a Billy the Kid vs. Dracula. I wonder if it's on DVD...http://domainofthedisturbing.wordpress.com
Changing the face of horror literature...if I can only get something published first.
