I believe Tyler Mane will be playing Pennywise.

Tyler Mane would be my last choice to play Pennywise. Tim Curry was brilliant in the role but even Tims version of Pennywise was not how you pictured him to be from the book.

It's just weird that Pennywise would suddenly become like 6' 9". Tim Curry was perfect for the role

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Tyler's a huge guy. Jackie Earl Haley has the right voice for Pennywise, but even then people will always think of Tim as Pennywise just like Robert Englund will always be Freddy.
If they don't use Tim Curry, I think Andy Serkis or Gary Oldman would be a good choice.

Good picks. Gary Oldman could be a good choice.

Just further proof, nothing is sacred and no one has an original thought in Hollywood any more. I read earlier today that they are remaking "True Grit", so if John Wayne ain't off limits, nothing is. Pretty soon they'll be remaking movies a year after they come out. Oh wait, those are sequels.

Ah, but True Grit is being remade by the Coen Bros. so I have higher hopes for that one than most horror remakes/"reimaginings."
