Gremlins 3 (Huge fan of the first two, as with Ghostbusters)
Scream 4 (Even has Adrienne King from Friday the 13th)
Jeepers Creepers 3 (Goes back to the roots of the creeper)
Sleepaway Camp Reunion (Possibly in 3-D, doubt this will even be made)
Saw VII (What can I say, i'm a SAW fan, and this is in 3-D)
Ghostbusters 3 (Huge fan of the first two, as with Gremlins)
Halloween 3 (Going to remake the remake, sounds interesting)
Evil Dead Remake (I'd like to see what they'd do with in these days)
Deep Red Remake (Huge Argento fan, but why 3-D?)
Poltergeist Remake (Huge fan of the Original, RIP Heather O'Rourke, Coming Thanksgiving Weekend 2010)
Hatchet 2 (Liked the premise of the first film, like to see what they do with it)
    Walking Dead (Looks promising)
Fright Night Remake (Sadly, in 3-D)
    Deadly Friend Remake (..3-D)
I Spit on your Grave Remake (Remaking a controversial classic, hmm)
Don't Look in the Basement Remake (No Comment)
Monster Squad Remake (LOVED the original)
    Toxic Avenger Remake (C'mon Troma)
Night of the Demons Remake (Not sure if this is out yet or not)
Trick or Treat Remake (Who can Replace Ozzy Osbourne?)
The Gate Remake (Looking great, but apparently, not a horror film? Original was great)
Mother's Day Remake (Again, C'mon Troma)
Swamp Thing Remake (STOP with the 3-D already)
    Suspiria Remake (No Comment)
Maniac Cop Remake (Could be really fun!)
The Amittyville Horror Remake (Getting Remade, again?)
    The Brood Remake (No Comment)
Piranha Remake (God Bless Roger Coremen; Nuff' said)
Happy Birthday to Me Remake (NO MORE 3-D)
Terror Train (HUGE fan of the original, and Jamie Lee Curtis )

See how many are Remakes and are in 3-D? Quite sad actually.

I really don’t mind all the 3-D, at least it’s a little more bang for your buck. I don’t think everything needs to be 3-D but I don’t see a problem with it. If they want me to pay to see something like a remake of Fright Night then they better try some gimmick.

I’m more sick to the whole 3-D TV push than 3-D at the movies.

I'd rather see them all in 2-D. I find, that in 3-D, the quality is down-graded severly.

You can always see them that way on DVD.

To me talking about the quality of a remake of something like The Monster Squad or The Gate is kind of pointless. I'm very fond of both originals and there is likely nothing a remake can do to really win me over. I'll give them a shot, 3-D or not, but at least with 3-D there is some sense of fun evolved.

To each his own, I just don’t see why the backlash against all these multiplex, popcorn movies being made in 3-D, as if something like Saw VII would be any better in 2-D.

    But that's just me.

I can see it now with The Brood remake (which is one of my all-time favorites): CGI brats that aren't scary whatsoever running around killing people.

    Ooooh, I'm scaaaaaaaared.

Deep Red is one of my favourite movies so Romero better not mess it up as his last few efforts haven't been brilliant
Happy Birthday to Me , didn't know they're remaking it, hopfully it'll be good
Evil Dead, I watched them again recently with my Son. He loved the first two but like me hated the 3rd, Sorry! I know a lot of Evil Dead fans will be going boo, but I'm hoping the 4th will be less slapstick.
Trick or Treat, I used to have the soundtrack lol, again I didn't know they planned on doing a remake
Monster Squad and The Gate, two of my childhood faves.

I spit on your grave, not interested as I disliked the first one. I don't have a ***** but that bath scene made me go "ouch" and cross my legs. The rape scene was too long and sleazy. Fright Night, not sure about Colin Farrell, playing Jerry the vampire, maybe he'll pull it off.

Some other good movies on the list, hopefully their remakes will do them justice.

Cool! I had no idea they were going to remake some of those movies. Sometimes remakes are an interesting take on originals. Other times, they can make me angry...'cause in some cases it's best to leave well enough alone. }:-)

I look forward to Evil Dead (love the originals), Poltergeist (that movie scared the heck outta me as a kid), Ghostbusters 3, and Halloween 3. It will be interesting to see what they do with some of these.
