Yeah, that about sums it up! I finally got it on Netflix and watched it.

It gave me so many ideas!! I loved the stories and the characters and the way everything intertwined.

If you haven't seen this movie -- get it now!!!

I know there's a thread on here where someone made the scary little "kid" from the movie. I have to find that thread and make that little tyke so he can stand in my yard this Halloween.

If anyone can point me in the direction of that prop build, I'd really appreciate it!

I snagged the DVD back when it finally hit the shelves around here, and I've already watched it more times than is probably healthy. The imagery itself is worth a watch, but of course I love the whole thing! Glad you were able to track down a copy, and best of luck making your own adorable little Halloween demon .

This is the video tutorial from Hauntcast: Making of Sam. Definitely an excellent looking prop.

Here's another thread on Hauntcast's same Sam prop: Sam - Trick 'r treat.

And another that will hopefully be continued: Trick R Treat Sam Prop

No tutorial, but certainly another nice Sam standee prop for reference: new scarecrow , sam , and "it" redone.

I enjoyed it, I wish we had more horror anthologies released. I wouldn't call it the ultimate Halloween night movie, for me that's Halloween.

Yes I saw it back last Feb. and loved it too. By far the best Halloween related movie I've ever seen. Just don't mess with Sam's lighted pumpkins, he's a bad little dude and too funny. I want to buy a copy soon and I don't ever buy movies but this one I must have. It's trully an instant classic. They need to make more like this.

For me it was a slightly above average movie. The main issue for me was the weak character development. I thought this movie could have been kickass and Warner Brothers did it no favor by not releasing it to the big screen which could have brought future success.

Well put, I felt the same way about the character development. If it came to a toss up between this and Creepshow, Creepshow would be my choice.

I just loved all the surprises in it. It was like going Trick 'r Treating as a kid at all of our houses.
