Just checked imdb, Brad Dourif's going to be reprising his role as the voice of Chucky.

Good news as it wouldn't be the same without him.

Is it a remake or a sequel? If a remake, I wonder how they will change Chucky? make him look like a BRAZT doll? Today, it's very rare to see boys playing with dolls, so, i wonder how they will do this. Maybe Hasbro will have a hand in it and make Chuky into a giant GI-Joe or a Transformer?

It's definitely a remake. I've been keeping my eye on UpcomingHorrorMovies for details of a lot of err....upcoming horror movies

This is the reason i decided to do my Bride of Chucky costume last year, before everyone jumped on the Chucky bandwagon! I can just imagine a load of kids who dont even know it's a remake dressing up as Chucky!

My hubby and I were talking about remakes last night. It really seems that nobody has an original movie idea anymore. They remade My Bloody Valentine, Black Christmas, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street now this. Also, I have heard that they are remaking Fright Night...

Its unfortunate that not all remakes do the original movie justice either, mind you I did enjoy the Rob Zombie version of Halloween.

Seed of Chucky was terrible . I think Hollywood has run out of idea's with all these remakes going around.

I agree with osenator. Even a little boy with a doll isn't very realistic for this day and age. I don't see why they don't just let the franchise die out. Seed of Chucky was the nail in the coffin and there's no reason to unnail it.

I have to disagree for this simple reason. I would be willing to bet that everyone who has responded to this thread will be watching this once it arrives on Blu/DVD.
