After posting my new gallery of FanExpo 2009 with Bruce Campbell, I will explained how I got shafted by Bruce, the man Campbell
(not his fault, I know).

My Bruce Campbell story : Being a huge Bruce Campbell Fan, we went to FanExpo specialy to see him and to get one of my movie signed by him. It was a dream to meet him for me one day

Arriving at the c onvention in downtown Toronto was shocking on how many people was there. It was a wait for 2 hours just to enter the expo. This year, instead like other years, they combined 5 conventions in one convention (anime, video games, horror, comics and scifi) in one single big room. So, people like me who just wanted the horror part, add to be stuck with all bunch of strange otakus and really smelly nerds and other weirdos... Anyway, finally in, we went right away for the signing part.

Again, it was so badly organised that it took us 15 minutes to finally find where he was to be. A line was forming so we got into it quickly. We tought it was not so bad, about an hour of waiting to reach the counter to pay 35$ to received a coupond allowing you to see Bruce. After paying, they inform you to go behind a huge long red curtain.

Holy ****! behind the huge red curtain was about 300 people in line to see Bruce with the coupon. Remember, Bruce is still not there yet. So, we go and sit in the line, wich I would have not join if I knew about that freakin line. Trust me, everyone was shocked at this, we all felt this was a skam, why hide the line from everyone. Slowly, the line was moving and after more than 2 hours, we were about fifty people away to see Bruce, with then, suddenly, people from the Expo tell everyone that Bruce needs a break for 2 hours. We quickly ask what is deal for everyone who is still waiting (they was about another 200 people behind us). They say to simply come back in two hours. So, everyone got up and went to eat and look around. (Due to this all waiting, I missed other stars and people I wanted to see too).

So, about an hour left, we went back and found about 100 people still in line. We sat and waited an hour until Bruce was back. Then, the expo people say that Bruce will only signed for the last fifty people who waited in line the first time. People and myself ask quickly what is this ********. The very same man we ask before we left told us every was okay before everyone left was actually lying to all of us. He quickly said he took fifty names after all the people left to eat. (obviously lying as he was changing his story every few second).

About one hundred people was extemely mad, including myself. So, many with me went to the counter to ask our money back, as the man from the expo said they would refund our money back. The people at the counter start saying they could not refund us our money back for policy reasons. People now were losing it, including me. Luckely, a guy saw me yelling at the counter and ask what was happening. I told him what was going on and he asked if the coupon was good for Sunday too. (We were there for only Saturday). I asked the counter if the coupon was good for Sunday and they promise me and the man that for sure, Bruce would see him. The man bought my ticket for 40$ and thank me. I did make a 5$ profit, but I rather had Bruce signed my movie. I totally blamed the Expo people for this and I know many many people complained about it. They promise this year, things will be better organised. I still really enjoyed it, but next time, I won't go for signatures, not worth it for me
