I'm trying to compile a list of movies for Halloween 2010: some of the old classics.
Any ideas would be great!![]()

Hiya - my favorite is probably obvious, but the classic, original Halloween always gets me in the mood to decorate or contemplate a build.
Haunt to Live ... Live to Haunt

Can't top the original Frankenstein.
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

Yep...Any of the original Universal "Big 5".
Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Wolfman and Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Many of the Hammer Horror movies are well worth a watch too...Particularly those in the Dracula and Frankenstein series. Some good lab scenes and foggy graveyards for inspiration here.
Carpenter's original Halloween has already been suggested, and I would possibly add Micheal Doughery's Trick "R" Treat to the list .
Baron Samedi.
"Celebrating half a century of having fun with the emotionally frail".

Halloween and Trick ‘R Treat are great but if your looking for older films then you can’t go wrong with the Universals, Esp. Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride Of Frankenstein, or The Wolfman.
You might also try Brides of Dracula, House On Haunted Hill, Night Of The Demon, Arsenic And Old Lace, The Body Snatcher, The Leopard Man, Murders In The Rue Morgue, House Of Usher, The Haunted Palace, Night Of The Living Dead. You'll have money and all that money can buy.

There are some great trailer tape collections you can get I use to get in the mood....in fact during the party, I will sometimes play them on the tube..
Mars Collective has a lot on sale on ebay, for one source...they're pretty reasonable and reliable for shipping.

Monster Squade. It's an 80's movie that features camo type appearences from Dracula,The Mummy, The Swamp Laggoon, Wolfman and Frankenstine.
It's about a group of 12-14 year old boys that save the world from the monster taking it over. Pretty awesome for an 80's movie. It's one the kids can watch and it still stay entertaining for us adults.
Not to mention I picked up the two disk 20th anniv. edition for only $5.00 (1-25-2010Last edited by rockplayson; 01-26-2010 at 08:23 PM. Reason: halloweenrocks dumbass
