Back on topic...Myers is a sissy. Fact.
So too is Voorhees..
Pair of Mummy's boys, both of 'em.
Both of them are big girl's blouses who, when they're not poking teenagers with pointy objects, probably spend their time sipping shandy and eating fairy cakes.

Same goes for that geezer Krueger as well..What a Nancy that one is...
Who on earth wanders around in a fedora hat and a stripey sweater unless they are off for a few margaritas down at the local Jessie-boys bar?? And what kind of big, scary guy picks on kids when they're asleep?

Daniel Robitaille (Candyman)..despite having a rather dubious name, is the only man amongst amongst 'em.
No hiding behind masks for ol' Danny boy, No sir.. and not a teenager or dozy kid in sight. (apart from the one he dragged off the lavvy..and even then there was some dispute as to whether or not it was him that did it)..

Plus it takes a real man to walk round with a gob full of bees.

Michael Myers has always been a favorite of mine. I enjoyed the Friday the 13th films but they just aren't as creepy as Halloween. I enjoyed the remake as well though I prefer the original. And the Halloween soundtrack...right up there with Jaws as the most recognizable (and haunting) theme in film history.

The character development of Michael Myers is superior to Jason in that the original "Jason" was actually his mother, Pamela Sue Voorhees. Also, the fact that Jason is deformed lends to the predicated notion that there's something wrong with him. With Michael...he's actually an average size, good looking guy...and that throws the viewer off. We don't know why Michael does what he does....but the viewer can ration that Jason does it because he was left to drown or from being teased about his deformities.

I love them both...but Michael is a pure unadulterated, evil bad ass. And even at 36 years old....I'm still creeped out by him. Jason doesn't get to me at all.

BTW, I have both of the Michael and Jason Props and almost everyone at our last Halloween party was freaked out by the Michael Myers prop...not so much with Jason. I did beef Michael up with some foam padding - the prop was a bit thin.

My wife and i are fans of both tales,, her fav being the Halloween series, mine being both. The new RZ versions are cool,, well,, the first one is. Not a fan of the second by RZ, the kiiling is good and brutal, but the story kinda sux.
I also agree with Friday the 13th stories being a bit on the cheezy side, but still awesome non the less,, i even like the remake that came out not long ago,,,, lots of TnA,,, and Jason is more of a machine than a man,, i liked how that one turned out. Our 2010 haunt will be the first year the wife and i will break out of our normal shells and do something different,, she is going to be MM, while im going to be JV,, (ive been the reaper for last 12 years!!!) so im excited to get to wear something different, even though it will only be a hockey mask,, at least my costume will be fairly cheap,, lol.

I had a post on here to locate a good MM mask, many of you posted and gave me some great ideas,, i did end up with the RZ version (the second movie) due to price and ease of buying it (was for the wife for X-mas) and i gotta tell ya its a great mask!!!!

Mikes got a cool mask but he is kind of a sissy.

Jason is not really creepy though....He's more of a mama's boy.
