My wife and I went to the new Christmas Carol last night, and I have to say this movie was the darkest take on the story I have ever seen. Now don't get me wrong, it wasn't scary or horrifying, but it was very dark considering Disney was the maker of the movie. The ghosts made the show.
I think many of you would like this movie for it's creepiness. The ghosts and settings in some of the scenes were creepy. If you like the story of A Christmas Carol I think you should check it out. It is NOT a warm a fuzzy version of the story. I will be adding this to my DVD collection, it is the perfect movie for making the transition from the Halloween season to the Christmas season.
Thanks, Dan

I will most likely be seeing it this weekend, I'll drop my feedback if I do.

I love just about any version of "A Christmas Carol". Did you see the 3-D version?

Yes we saw the 3-d version. The movie was beautiful looking, and the contrast of the busy city to Scrooge's living quarters was great. His house felt like a haunted house.
Three of the ghosts had a scary/creepy element that normally is toned down in versions that I have seen. In my opinion, it really is a haunters version of the story. The creepy element is their throughout the movie, until the very end of course. Dan
