Default Had to sleep with the lights on last night...

I saw Paranormal State yesterday. The first 2/3 of the movie wasn't that scary but it gradually got scarier - especially the last 10 minutes; I'm not going to give it away but it gave me goosebumps and a cold sweat! I actually thought Blair Witch was better but BW didn't have me waking up in the middle of the night thinking about demons.

I lied in bed for an hour until I was so tired that I could no longer think about the movie and finally fell asleep, yes, with the lights on!

LOL I was working on my witch dummy in my room for most of the month. She is life sized so when I walked into the room, I would think someone was in here. I would have to turn her around at night so I wouldn't wake up, see her, and freak thinking someone was in my room...LOL

I saw it today. Funny, they're calling it Paranormal Activity here. It was pretty scary, but I think that The Exorcist and The Exorcism of Emily Rose was scarier. But, it was pretty good. Except for the friend...lol. She was great. :P

Reminds me of a story about a friend buying another friend's mothers house. Short story things happen in the house especially my friend's room upstairs (single room add-on with stair) and I would sleep over sometimes. Never saw or heard a thing. So before selling his step-dad died in the living room floor.

Well my friend who bought it is a single mom with a teenage daughter. And I would tell her the stories about the house. One night I call over there and her mom is out. I tease her about being left alone. Then I start telling her about the father dieing. The house has wood floors, so I told her "an old wives tale" I made up on how where the boards creak it means they were loosened by the ghost rising from the body of those buried under a floor.

Did I mention this is a very old house and EVERY board creaks?

Needless to say her electric bill was a little higher that month from all the lights constantly turned on by her daughter when she was left alone.

I called it Paranormal State too, lol. I think because of the show on AE. It's ok anyone you say it to knows what your are talking about. It didn't really freak me out. I think because we were in a theater with screamy teens. I'll wait until dvd release to watch at home alone and then probably freak.
